THE ROAD AHEAD We built the Axial WS Race's frame for efficiency and comfort. With its tapered head tube, cross-ovalised down tube and thru axles front and rear, it delivers uncompromising speed and steering accuracy. Disc brake mounts ensure even the longest descent is no problem. And a carbon fork and slender seatstays help keep you comfortable, however long you're in the saddle. IT'S ALL IN THE DETAIL. THE AXIAL WS RACE'S LEGENDARILY RELIABLE SHIMANO 105 GEARS GIVE YOU THE RANGE AND PACE YOU NEED TO COVER THE MILES, BUT IT'S THE CUBE DESIGN DETAILS LIKE THE FULL CARBON FORK – WHICH IS LIGHTER AND MORE COMFORTABLE THAN THE ALTERNATIVE – THAT REALLY SEAL THE DEAL. Designed to combine comfort and speed, the legendary reliability and performance of Shimano's 105 components let you concentrate on the ride. Slick, wide-ranging 2x11 gears tackle any route with ease, while powerful hydraulic disc brakes give you the confidence to push your limits, whatever the conditions. Ride fast, ride free. SMOOTH WELDING Smooth Welding isn't easy, but worthwhile things usually aren't. It has two advantages. First, and most obviously, it looks great: one tube seems to almost flow into the other. Second, and at least as importantly, it helps to minimise load peaks on welded areas for better frame strength and durability. FENDER OPTION For those times when you just have to go out and ride in less than ideal weather, fenders can be a huge help. The Attain and Axial series are both designed with frame and fork clearances that are generous enough to fit full length mudguards, so you can stay a little dryer even when the heavens are opening. ROAD COMFORT GEOMETRY A comfortable bike is a fast bike. It's also one that you'll want to keep riding. Road Comfort Geometry prioritises optimal load distribution and a comfortable riding position, so that you'll look forward to being in it for the long haul. With a low bottom bracket for extra stability and room to run 28mm tyres, we like to think we've thought of everything. ALUMINIUM LITE There's aluminium, and then there's CUBE Aluminium Lite. This heat-treated 6061 aluminium is stiff, fatigue-resistant and, because of its natural corrosion resistance, a great material from which to make lightweight tube sets – and bicycle frames. And it does all this without adding unnecessary weight, so you can get the best enjoyment out of your CUBE. WOMEN'S SERIES Women tend to have slightly different body proportions compared to men, and that can affect bike fit and function. That's why CUBE's Women's Series pays particular attention to frame sizing and to details like the saddle, stem and handlebars.
