In momentul in care au inceput sa apara primele schite ale modelului BRONTO, specialistii Delphin au tinut cont de 3 principii de baza la proiectarea acestor cizme. Primul a fost functionalitatea maxima, al doilea designul netraditional care sa tina cont de toate necesitatile utilizatorului si al treilea rata ridicata a confortului utilizatorului. Granitele dintre aceste trei principii sunt cateodata chiar minime. Pe baza experientelor specialistilor Delphin, au dezvoltat un model care desi are acelasi material de baza ca alte modele asemanatoare, dar deja dupa prima folosire il vom percepe drept ceva diametral diferit de celelalte cizme accesibile in mod curent. Cizmele Bronto au rigiditate mai ridicata a talpii si in acest fel transmit piciorului neregularitatile terenului in masura obisnuita. Mai gros inseamna si mai bun si in privinta proprietatilor izolante ale pantofului. Pantoful propriu zis are o modelare usor mai ingusta, ceea ce cauzeaza scapari termice mai reduse pe timpul iernii, dar si un mers mai placut, cand piciorul nu fuge degeaba in cizma.
